Telephone, cable and internet

UVic's Purchasing Services has established a number of pricing agreements that may also be used by staff and faculty for personal use. These include packages for cell phone and laptop purchases.

Electricity

BC Hydro is the main provider of hydro-electric service in British Columbia. See their website for information on getting connected.

Gas

Fortis BC provides natural gas and propane service for British Columbia residents.

Oil

Many homes in Victoria are not connected to natural gas. Their heating source comes from oil, which is provided by Columbia Fuels, or even propane, which is available from a few different companies.
