Prof Jamie Cassels installed as President of UVic
At the morning convocation ceremony on November 12, Prof Jamie Cassels QC was installed as President and Vice Chancellor of the University. Prof Cassels is a magnificent scholar on legal theory, remedies, and tort law, has been a member of the Faculty of Law since 1981,was Dean of the Faculty from 1999 to 2001, and was Vice-President Academic and Provost of the University from 2001-2010. We look forward to his vigorous and wise leadership in the years to come.
