Nov 25 - 2:30 Early Music in UVic's Special Collections

On November 25th at 1:30pm Dr. Susan Lewis Hammond will be presenting at Treasures and Tea in Room A003 in the McPherson Library. Her talk “Early Music in UVic’s Special Collections and Archives” will be a tour of Special Collection’s musical treasures from digitization projects to psalm books. Learn about music’s role in spirituality and morality, while considering musical books as material objects and culturally significant containers. Going up until the 18th Century this will be a fabulous introductory tour of UVic’s musical archives!
