Latin American Studies offers honours, majors, general and minor towards a Bachelor of Arts degree. You are able to choose from either a literary and cultural studies track program or an interdisciplinary studies track program. You can also pair your Latin American Studies with another department for a double major, or minor. Combining options allows you to make the most of your studies and to specialize in the areas you most wish to research.

Our degree will help establish critical thinking skills, awareness of ethnically and culturally diverse populations, as well as important understanding of the geopolitical and geocultural area of Latin America.
