We are currently restructuring our MA programs in Germanic, Slavic and Holocaust Studies. Please contact the departmental graduate advisor for more information about our next intake of students.

Checklist for Admission:

Applicants should usually have a minimum overall B+ average (6.0 GPA), or a minimum A- average (7.0 GPA) in the final year of all their undergraduate work. In some cases, students may be required to do extra work at the undergraduate level in order to round out their academic background.

Students must apply by January 15 to be considered for fellowships and scholarships.

Applications are made on-line to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Application packages should include:

  • An application form
  • Official transcripts
  • An updated CV
  • A short Statement of Intent (1-2 pages stating the research area you wish to focus on)
