The Wilna Thomas Centre at Camosun College
Professor Misao Dean delivered a keynote address at a full-day retreat for teachers from Victoria High School on April 25th. Her talk was entitled:"What people of settler ancestry can contribute to the process of Truth and Reconcilation.” The event was organized by a team that included UVic Grad and District Aboriginal Art and Culture Facilitator Sarah Rhude, who also sang a beautiful kwakwaka’wakw song to honour residential school survivors. The event was held in the Wilna Thomas Centre at Camosun College.
