2025 Fall Write-In Recap

On November 26, 2025, the Academic and Technical Writing Program, in collaboration with UVic Libraries and the Academic Skills Centre, hosted the Fall 2025 Write-In. There are 150 seats in the CALL Centre and at times almost every seat was occupied, making this year's Write-In one of the most well attended Write-Ins to date. Students from a wide range of departments and academic backgrounds came together to work on their writing and research projects in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Students received guidance from volunteers, who provided one-on-one feedback, research assistance, and writing support. The collaborative and interactive atmosphere encouraged productivity, peer learning, and meaningful progress on academic work.

The ATWP extends a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who contributed their time and expertise to make the event a huge success, this event would not have been possible without you. Events like this highlight the importance of accessible academic support and remind students that writing is a shared process. We look forward to hosting the Write-In again this spring and continuing to support students across campus.
