Jack and Shirley Utley Bursary
Jeff Whitsett wishes to establish this award in honour of his grandparents, Jack & Shirley Utley. Mr. Whitsett is a graduate of the University of Victoria in 1996 with an honours degree from the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences. He currently designs and monitors 3D seismic acquisition surveys for oil and gas exploration. His grandfather, Jack Utley, recently passed away and was a Texan oil hand all of his life. Mr. Whitsett wishes to support students in the geosciences in his memory.
