Carolyn E. & Robert J. McCormick Indigenous Entrance Scholarship

Bob and Carolyn McCormick created their Foundation in 2003 to support scholarships for Indigenous students studying Law within Canada.  They were very careful with money, always saving so as to help others.

Bob worked in research at a manufacturing company and Carolyn was a kindergarten teacher and musician.  Carolyn’s passion was music, and loved playing the piano and organ at her Church.

They lived in Caledonia, Ontario near the Six Nations Reserve.  Bob and Carolyn wanted to support Indigenous students pursuing law as a way to positively influence Indigenous land claims and other conflicts, as well as reconciliation.

Bob passed away in 2015 and Carolyn in 2019 and they were very proud to leave behind this legacy.
