1. Check your application status

After you submit your application, you'll receive a UVic student number that will stay with you throughout your time at UVic.

  • If you applied online, you'll receive your student number by email within a few days
  • If you submitted a paper application, you'll receive your student number by email when your admission assistant processes the form

Use your student number to access our application portal, which will show you the status of your application and a checklist of tasks that you'll need to complete.

2. Submit your supplemental application (if required)

In addition to grades, some UVic undergraduate programs require applicants to provide additional information as part of the selection process.

Check the Supplemental application information page to see deadlines and details for programs that require supplemental applications.

3. Report your grades

Once you've submitted your application for undergraduate studies, you'll need to provide us with your grades.

High school students studying in Canadian curriculums

If you're a Grade 12 student studying in a Canadian high school (including schools using the IB curriculum and Canadian offshore schools), you must self-report your grades between February 15 and March 31.

High school students studying outside of Canada

International high school students (including IB schools outside of Canada) must arrange for interim transcripts to be sent to Undergraduate Admissions before the application deadline.

If you are a student at an offshore school with a Canadian curriculum, you can self-report your grades.
