Student supports across faculties

Students are living closer than ever to the financial breaking point. Last year, one in every seven University of Victoria students relied on donor support in order to manage their costs. From emergency bursaries to entrance scholarships, UVic faculties are raising funds this spring to create better access to education for students.

By supporting one the initiatives below, you’ll be providing critical financial support to a UVic student. While matching funds last, your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar, which means you’ll make twice the difference for students.

As students, we are making that constant choice – do I pick up another shift at work or do I study for my midterm? I want to be investing in school as my primary job. I’m investing in my future and my son’s future. A gift may seem small to the person giving it, but the impact for students is impossible to overstate.
