Community members and visitors

Members of the Greater Victoria community can freely access and use Library resources (including on-site digital collections, print collections, and public computer terminals). They can also borrow books and audio materials with a Community Card.
Benefits of a UVic Libraries Community Card
- It's FREE!
- Borrowing privileges for books (25 items max for 28-day loan)
- Borrowing privileges for records/CDs (5 items max for 28-day loan)
- Interlibrary Loan access (a fee-for-service to receive materials from other academic libraries)

- Enjoy the library buildings and open study spaces
- Browse our stacks and read books in the library
- Access the Libraries' digital collections with a guest Netlink ID
- View rotating exhibits from our special collections and university art collections

- Attend workshops and events
- Access rare and unique materials in Special Collections and University Archives
