If you need a private space to rest or lie down, visit our respite rooms in the Mearns - McPherson Library and the Diana M. Priestly Law Library.

Room details 

  • Mearns - McPherson Library: main floor, room 132: bed with lift, easy chair, and adjustable lighting
  • Diana M. Priestly Law Library: second floor, room 258: bed, easy chair with foot stool, and adjustable lighting

How to access

These rooms are non-bookable and subject to availability. They are available during our open hours. 

Visit the Ask Us Desk at either the Mearns - McPherson Library or the Law Library to request access. Photo ID is required.

Please leave the room clean and tidy. We have provided cleaning supplies.
