We answer chats and texts on Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Using our chat is great for questions that need quick answers, like how to find an article or how to use the library. If you need help with something more complicated, you can send us an email.

Chat is available during these hours:

Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Staff from UVic will answer on weekdays until 5 p.m. On evenings and weekends, a global chat network librarian will answer.
