Mission
The Information Security Office supports the University's commitment to create a secure yet open computing environment in which the University Community can teach, learn, conduct research, and perform administrative functions. Under the direction of the CIO, the ISO is responsible for overall coordination and management of the Information Security program for the University. This program will allow the university to manage information security in accordance with policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

Structure
The Information Security Office works closely with the Privacy and with Records Management staff (see Organizational Chart) to ensure a comprehensive information management program is in place.
