Nick MacGregor wins Jubilee Medal
Every year, we recognize the student with the highest graduating GPA in the Faculty of Science with the Faculty of Science Jubilee Medal. This year, we're proud to celebrate Nick MacGregor (he/him), who graduated with a BSc (Honours) in combined Mathematics and Statistics.
"I feel incredibly honoured to receive this award. I'd like to thank my professors for their mentorship and my classmates for their companionship. This achievement would have been insurmountable without them.
I'd also like to share one of my favorite memories from my time at UVic. It was when I spent far too much time creating a silly poster for an optics assignment but it was completely worth it as it made many of my classmates and even my professor laugh. I really appreciate the opportunities I was given to be creative in the classroom."
