Team Meeting May 23, 2013
It was great to see so many ELPH team members in Vancouver on May 23, 2013! We began the day with a discussion on BC's Guiding Framework for Public Health, then moved into a discussion on Power and Ethics in Public Health (ELPH 4). Marjorie, Lenora, Bashir, Kathy, Bernie and Wanda are on that working group. We worked on the interview questions in preparation for this grounded theory study. We also reviewed the progress for Assessing Health Equity Priorities and Strategies Across Health Authorities (ELPH 1). Corrine and Bernie led the discussion to review the baseline data collection and plan for Phase II interviews with front-line practitioners. Kathleen showcased our draft Health Equity Tools Inventory (ELPH 3) and we had a discussion on the knowledge mobilization. We also touched base on our upcoming Research Policy Internships. We look forward to seeing everyone in October 2013 for the next whole team meeting.
