The Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies opens the first Russian Language Testing Centre in Canada

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies opens the first Russian Language Testing Centre in Canada. Anyone who would like to have their Russian language skills assessed and to receive internationally recognized Russian Language Proficiency Certificate issued by the Moscow State University is welcome to take the TORFL examinations at UVic. The first exam session will take place on April 27^th at UVic. To register for the exam and to learn more about Test of Russian as a Foreign Language (TORFL), please visit our Testing Centre website. The TORFL examinations will take place in Canada once a year. The registration deadline for 2018 examinations is March 25, 2018.
