Chasing Margaret

Chasing Margaret is a 12-minutes narrative short directed by Chorong Kim, our second-year graduate student. The film tells the story of a man who searches for his recently deceased grandmother's book in hopes of finding a meaning of his life. Shot in Victoria, B.C., the film stars the current undergraduate and graduate students and alumni from the Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies.

The movie will screen on Wednesday, April 20, at 7:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., followed by a documentary film "Guantanamo's Child: Omar Khadr" at Cinecenta.
