MSW specializations

Since 2009 the School of Social Work has made the Master in Social Work Indigenous specialization (MSWI) a core program that is fully accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education.

The MSWI focuses on understanding the principles of Indigenous theory where students then compare and contrast Indigenous theory against social policy, research methodology, social theory and social work practice. Learn more about applying to the program.
