Compelling Futures Begin Here

Since offering our first on campus classes in 1974, we have equipped graduates with the tools to build successful careers while contributing to their own communities. We offer professional graduate and undergraduate programs in public administration, dispute resolution, and community development. As we continue to innovate through new programs and delivery methods, we remain focused on providing the highest quality education to students who are passionate about making a difference.

Congratulations to Mark Jarvis, a PhD student was has been awarded the prestigious Donner Prize, an annual award for the best public policy book by a Canadian.  Read more.

Irene Huse, MPA graduate and currently a PhD student in the School of Public Administration, has been awarded the SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship, valued at $35,000 per annum for 36 months. Congratulations to Irene!

The application deadline has been extended for domestic applicants to the Evaluation programs. Parties interested in the Graduate Specialization Certificate/Diploma in Evaluation please see the Evaluation overview and consult the "how to apply" page.

Congratulations to Christine Fritze, an MADR student who has been awarded two scholarships for the 2011/2012 academic year: a SSHRC Joseph Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship valued at $17,500 and the UVic President’s Research Scholarship of $4000.

Contratulations to Rickie-Lee Doyle, an MPA student who is the 2011 recipient of the Victoria Chapter of the Financial Management Institute’s $1,000 scholarship. Full-time students registered with the UVic School of Public Administration or the Camosun College School of Business, who have plans for a career in public sector financial management, are eligible to apply.
