Pink Shirt Day 2024

Bullying is a pervasive problem in Canada and our campus is no exception. As a community, we can lift each other up by wearing pink on February 28. It’s a small but meaningful gesture that shows everyone at UVic that we stand for kindness.

Enhanced Planning Tools reports to be open for editing Sept. 1

Unit managers, deans and those with responsibilities for data entry using Enhanced Planning Tools reporting will be able to access their reports for editing from Sept. 1 to Oct. 17.

The editing period allows for updating and review. Reports will display refreshed central data, with qualitative questions populated with answers retained from the last round of reporting.

"It's an opportunity for managers to look at the central data from last year, update where necessary, and add any pertinent information such as new programs or significant changes, to sharpen their answers and ensure that their data reporting is consistent," says Sarah Blackstone, advisor to the provost, special projects.

In response to feedback, the reporting template has been streamlined to display data better and to enable printing reports. A review feature has been added, allowing managers to accept the existing answers for this year's report.

For more information, please see the Quick Start Guide and FAQs or email questions to .

Enhanced planning tools are provided to support all planning processes at UVic and are used for decision making and organizational forecasting for all unit, faculties and departments. Ancillary units will be included in the reporting process this year.
