Call for sessional instructors, spring term 2026

The School of Public Health and Social Policy invites applicants for sessional instructor positions for the spring 2026 term (Jan-Apr) to teach the following courses:

Undergraduate:

Graduate:

*INGH 452 is posted as a preferential hire. In accordance with the university’s equity plan and pursuant to Section 42 of the BC Human Rights code, preference will be given to members of the following designated group(s): Indigenous Peoples. Candidates from this group who wish to qualify for preferential consideration must self-identify in their cover letter.

The committee will review other applications if they do not find a suitable candidate in the preferential pool.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold at minimum a master’s degree in public health or an allied human services field to teach undergraduate courses. A PhD in a commensurate field is required to teach graduate-level courses.
