Another Steinway piano joins the collection

A retired school teached who attended Victoria Normal School (a predecessor to UVic) in 1957 has given her Steinway piano to the School of Music. Patricia Mason bought the piano 15 years ago, but found she was no longer able to play with the frequency she would like, so decided the instrument should be enjoyed by faculty and students of the school. The donation, worth over $30,000, adds another quality instrument to the collection at Canada's only all-Steinway school—a claim that wouldn't be possible without the generous support of many donors over the years.
