Two law firms give boost to Business Law Clinic

The law firms of Lawson Lundell and Norton Rose Fulbright (formerly Bull Housser Tupper) have each committed $25,000 over five years to the sponsorship of the Business Law Clinic, which allows students to deliver legal information to non-profits, start-ups, and small businesses, and to learn from practitioners through seminars about the practice of business law. Their support boosts the clinic's ablity to provide services free of charge to a wide range of business owners, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations in the community.

The Business Law Clinic was supported in the early years of its operation by Western Economic Diversification Canada. Several other law firms also help fund the clinic. Find out more at: https://www.uvic.ca/law/admissions/lawclinics/businessclinic/index.php
