Imagine two university students from the Science Venture team enter your classroom equipped with supplies, enthusiasm, and excitement for a jam-packed two-hour science, engineering, and technology workshop? Science Venture delivers these dynamic sessions across the province, igniting school kids with a passion for science, engineering, and technology while exposing them to positive university role models.
A generous gift to Science Venture from BG Group will fund these STEM outreach sessions in the Prince Rupert area. The funding will also support the development of teacher STEM kits, so local teachers can continue to deliver innovative activities to their students year round.
