About us

The Family Centre is an inclusive family resource centre located in the Student Family Housing complex supporting a diverse student family community living both on and off campus.

The Family Centre recognizes the specific needs of families where one or more members is a student. We offer a welcoming space to families new to student life and those who have been around for a while to connect, learn and play together.

We have a toy and book library, a clothing exchange and there’s always a pot of coffee on the go! At the Family Centre our goal is to make you feel at home whether you’ve come to UVic from near or far.
