J.S.D. Tory Prize for Advocacy
The law firm of Tory, Tory, DesLauriers and Binnington has established the J.S.D. Tory Prize for Advocacy. The prize, in an amount not less than $1,000 is awarded to the student, who in the opinion of the Faculty, is the most outstanding student in the Advocacy program at the Faculty of Law. In determining the recipient of the award, the Faculty shall have regard to the student's performance in the Legal Mooting Course, the Advocacy course, the Clinical Legal Education program, and in inter-scholastic mooting competitions. This prize may be awarded to a graduating student. Approval of the recipient will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Law.

Eligibility
In-Course scholarships, awards, medals and prizes are offered to undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 12.0 units for credit, of which 10.5 units are graded using the standard nine point scale, in two of the three terms of study in the previous academic year (May to April). In-course scholarships, awards and prizes are awarded in the subsequent winter session (September to April).
