Certificate of Outstanding Academic Distinction*
A certificate of distinction and a prize of a minimum of $1,000 is awarded to the four undergraduate student with the highest graduating grade point average in the School of Public Health & Social Policy, the School of Nursing, the School of Social Work and the School of Health Information Science.
Approval of the recipient will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the School of Public Health & Social Policy, the School of Nursing, the School of Social Work and the School of Health Information Science. The prizes are offered in recognition of the education and research impact of these four schools of the former Faculty of Human & Social Development.

Eligibility
In-Course scholarships, awards, medals and prizes are offered to undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 12.0 units for credit, of which 10.5 units are graded using the standard nine point scale, in two of the three terms of study in the previous academic year (May to April). In-course scholarships, awards and prizes are awarded in the subsequent winter session (September to April).

- Select "Student Services" on the top menu
- Select "Awards and financial aid" under "Finances"
- Select "View My Student Aid"
- Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
- Select "Accept" on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
