Bill Buckwold/Jennifer Richardson Award*
An award is given to a BCom or MBA graduating student who has demonstrated a substantial improvement and who has overcome a significant challenge to achieve their educational goal. Applicants must submit a cover letter and resume to the BCom Student Services office (BEC 283) either in person or by email by April 30th.
If an undergraduate student, selection will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards and if a graduate student, selection will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee both upon the recommendation of the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business.

Eligibility
In-Course scholarships, awards, medals and prizes are offered to undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 12.0 units for credit, of which 10.5 units are graded using the standard nine point scale, in two of the three terms of study in the previous academic year (May to April). In-course scholarships, awards and prizes are awarded in the subsequent winter session (September to April).

To accept your scholarship offer:
- Have a NetLink ID
- Go to www.uvic.ca and sign into your UVic Online tools account using your NetLink ID
- Select "Student Services" on the top menu
- Select "Awards and financial aid" under "Finances"
- Select "View My Student Aid"
- Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
- Select "Accept" on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
