Delete items using an SFTP client

  1. Ensure you have properly installed and connected to a Secure File Transfer client.
  2. Once you are connected, navigate to the file or folder that you would like to delete. You can delete items on your computer or on the server.
  3. If you want to delete multiple items in the same folder, click on the first item, press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and then click on the remaining items.
  4. Right click on the file or folder and select Delete. Alternatively, you can press the Delete key on your keyboard.



  5. You will be prompted with a confirmation message. Click Yes if you are certain you want to delete the item(s). Items deleted from the server (located on the right side of the window) can NOT be retrieved once deleted, so use caution when deleting items.
