Effective 14 hours ago: *UPDATE* This upgrade was completed by 7:45am
Network Services will be upgrading a switch in R Hut on Tuesday June 18. Some network users in R Hut will notice a disruption in service as the new switch is installed.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7:15 am and will be completed by 8:00am.

B-Link Production Server patching

Effective 21 hours from now: Starting at 19:00hrs the B-LINK servers http://share.business.uvic.ca will have the latest Microsoft Updates applied. There will be a brief interruption to B-Link Services while the servers are restarted.
The Informed will be updated when the work has been completed.

NETS: Switch Upgrade - SAU - Fri June 21, 7:15am

Effective 2 days from now: Network Services will be upgrading a switch in Saunders Building on Friday June 21. Some wired and wireless data users as well as some VOIP phone users in Saunders will notice a disruption in service as the new switch is installed.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7:15 am and will be completed by 8:00am.

css/javascript Updates for Online Application Referee - Letters and Additional Docs

Javascript and css updates will be deployed on the www cluster, ahead of the Letters and Additional Documents banner functionality for the Online Application Referee system. The javascript and css need to be in place before the banner code is deployed (Tuesday evening). The css/js updates will not affect any other systems, and no outage is expected.
I will update this message after the deployment is complete on Tuesday, June 18th, at approximately 7am.
