Applications for Indigenous Scholarships

Application forms for three scholarships for Indigenous students are now available. 

Dean's Award for Indigenous Graduate Students

The Dean's Award for Indigenous Graduate Students recognizes and supports academic excellence. One award of $6,000 is available for a master's student, and two awards of $6,000 are available for doctoral students. The deadline to apply is July 14, 2017. John Michael Brownutt Graduate Scholarship

The John Michael Brownutt Graduate Scholarship recognizes and supports Indigenous graduate (master's or doctoral) students who are academically outstanding and are demonstrated community leaders. One or more awards, to a total of $6,000, will be awarded to Indigenous students enrolled in full-time studies in a graduate program. The deadline to apply is July 14, 2017. Anthany Dawson Justice Award (Graduate and Undergraduate)

The Anthany Dawson Justice Award has been established to provide financial support to Indigenous students (undergraduate or graduate) who are pursuing programs related to justice in any of the following fields: Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Law, Political Science, Dispute Resolution or Indigenous Governance.
