WCWI participate in the METS and GMREC conference

The West Coast Wave Initiative is going to be attending the METS and GMREC conference in Seattle on the 15th – 17th of April, 2014. In attendance will be:
- Dr. Brad Buckham, PI for the WCWI.
- Dr Bryson Robertson, project manager and senior researcher, who specializes in resource assessment.
- Dr Helen Bailey, senior researcher, who specializes in technology modeling.
- Kush Bubbar, PhD student, who’s research involves looking at control of point absorbers by using a SWELS unit.
Bryson Robertson will be talking about the WCWI in the North America Research Initiatives session in GMREC. This session has speakers from a variety of North American Universities and promises to be an interesting and informative session.
Helen Bailey will be presenting her work in the METS session, Wave Energy: Simulations and Experiments I. The paper Helen is presenting in: A Methodology for Wave-To-Wire Wec Simulations by Helen Bailey, Juan P Ortiz, Bryson Robertson, Bradley J Buckham & Ryan S Nicoll.
