Slavic MA

Slavic MA by special arrangement - Customize your degree!

Students interested in pursuing graduate work in Slavic Studies at UVic may apply for a Slavic MA degree by Special Arrangement. Our grad students combine their Slavic degree with another discipline, such as History, Linguistics, Film Studies or Pacific and Asian Studies working together with faculty members on their thesis projects. We also participate in the Interdisciplinary MA program at UVic. To learn more about our MA opportunities please contact Megan Swift.

Deadlines

Applications may be submitted at any time. To be considered for financial assistance, applications must reach the Faculty of Graduate Studies by February 15 (September entry point). All applicants will be notified of their application’s status once a decision is reached.

Co-operative Education (Co-op)

Graduate students in Slavic Studies are eligible for co-op studies, alternating coursework with paid work terms. Students are also encouraged to inquire about teaching and research assistantships.
