Alumni wins Mitacs Entrepreneur Award
Clayton Hiles, the founder of Cascadia Coastal Research and a 2010 Master of Applied Science graduate from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UVic, was presented with one of four Mitacs Entrepreneur Awards at a gala in Calgary. Mitacs is a national funding agency that supports graduate research and offers an accelerator-style program for young entrepreneurs.
