ECE Students’ Capstone Design Project led to a $5 million provincial grant to Ocean Networks Canada for further investigation and development
March 1st, 2016 - ECE students Dennis Young and Daylan O’Neil, working under the supervision of Dr. Fayez Gebali and Dr. Kin Fun Li, have developed an earthquake early warning system prototype for Ocean Network Canada (ONC). This work has formed part of the effort to landing a recent provincial grant of $5 million to ONC for further research and development.
