Professor J. Bornemann inducted into the Canadian Academy of Engineering

April 27, 2010 - Jens Bornemann, Professor and Chair in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. The official induction will take place on 3 June 2010 in Toronto during the annual general meeting of the Academy.

Members of the Academy are nominated and elected by their peers to honorary Fellowships, in view of their distinguished achievements and career-long service to the engineering profession.

The Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) comprises many of the country's most accomplished engineers, who have expressed their dedication to the application of science and engineering principles in the interests of the country and its enterprises. The Academy is an independent, self-governing and non-profit organization established in 1987 to serve the nation in matters of engineering concern.
