Although UVic filters hundreds of thousands of fraudulent emails a day, UVic accounts may still receive some phishing and junk emails. To avoid receiving such emails, spam filtering can be enabled on your UVic account.
Please note that University Systems will never request your password over email. Any message requesting your password is a scam. Never respond to fraudulent emails, and never share your password with anyone, for any reason.
