ES 40th anniversary celebration
2014 is a very special year for the School of Environmental Studies. On Thursday, October 2, we celebrate the 40th year of the Environmental Studies Program at the University of Victoria, as well as the 15th Anniversary of the School of Environmental Studies. The celebration begins at 4:00 pm with an Open House featuring a no-host bar, live music, an exhibit highlighting the history of Environmental Studies spanning the last 40 years, and opportunities for you to contribute your stories of the past and visions of the future for our School. At 6:30, we will enjoy a keynote address from our Distinguished Professor, Dr. Nancy Turner, and the inaugural presentations of four new Environmental Studies awards, showcasing the work and accomplishments of ES students and alumni.
