Single Transferable Vote webcast archive

(Note: this event was webcast on April 30, 2009)

Times Colonist Editor-in-Chief Lucinda Chodan moderated a panel of experts who discussed the two voting systems on the referendum. The panel members were: Simon Fraser University political scientist Lynda Erickson; UVic political scientist Dennis Pilon; and UVic political science professor emeritus Norman Ruff. The panelists also responded to questions from the audience who participated in a hands-on demonstration of the two voting methods as part of the evening. The event was sponsored by UVic's Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Political Science, and the Times Colonist.
