Undergraduate students

New undergraduate students led by a UVic Orientation leader

Thousands of new students will arrive at UVic in September, coming from high schools, colleges, other universities and even the business world. Some of you have lived in Victoria all of your lives, while others grew up out east in Ontario or New York. Some of you are European exchange students studying abroad for a semester or two, while others are travelling to Canada from Africa or Asia as international students.

Wherever you come from, you've all chosen the University of Victoria, and you're already important members of our community.

We can't wait to meet you and help you get acquainted with campus!

We'll help you settle in

UVic Orientation provides activities and events to help you adjust to your new surroundings.

You'll meet new people, learn about academic expectations and find out about the services we provide. From academic advising and counselling services to campus recreation to resources for students with disabilities, we have so much to tell you about.

Check out what we have planned!
