Digital Scholarship Commons

The Digital Scholarship Commons is a Makerspace in the University of Victoria Libraries that provide UVic students with access to advanced technologies like 3D printing, electronics toolkits, statistical analysis, data visualization, GIS, audio/video editing, and desktop publishing. The DS Commons is a flexible, collaborative learning space that brings together students of all disciplines. The DS Commons employs student experts who can help you to get started with a wide range of technologies, or you can attend one of our workshops. DS Commons workshop calendar and news is available on our blog, along with information about our equipment, software, and hours.
