Guidelines
The LCT will:
- have a role in consensus driven decision-making, while acknowledging that the University Librarian is ultimately responsible for determining decisions when there are respectful divergences of opinion
- be a confidential body; members of the LCT will acknowledge and respect the confidentiality of the meetings
- be attentive to communicating with library staff about the decisions and issues discussed at meetings
- be a high priority meeting for its members
- be a role model for creating an institutional culture of respectful debate and discussion; clarity of decisions, outcomes and responsibilities; collaboration and consensus building
