A unique multidisciplinary approach to the study of Indigenous nations and peoples

The certificate in Indigenous Nationhood (IN) is a graduate level program that enables students to examine the intersections of law, politics and governance. The certificate is designed to be completed in 1-2 years.

Territory acknowledgement and respect

We acknowledge and respect the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples on whose traditional territory the university stands and whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
