Child and Youth Care ( Bachelor )
The School of Child and Youth Care offers a program of academic study and field work practice. They provide professional preparation for many fields, including:
- child welfare and child protection for government ministries and delegated authorities
- early intervention with special needs infants
- youth correction and community based programs (day care centres, schools, group homes, residential treatment facilities and hospital-based settings)
Their graduates are usually employed to provide intensive and continuous therapeutic care to children, youth and families facing a variety of life challenges.
