Social Work ( Masters, Professional )
The School of Social Work offers a graduate program leading to the degree of Master of Social Work (MSW) that is fully accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education. The program is designed to provide graduate students with the opportunity to reflect on their practice experience in the context of the School's mission statement and to develop critical skills and their application to practice and/or research.
Program options and specializations
Note:
The allotted time for program completion is 1.5 years for standard MSW or 2.5 years for non-BSW candidates.
The experiential learning component of this program gives students an option of thesis or research project and practicum. Non-BSW entry requires a practicum within the foundation year.
