When to use media rotators

  • To display more than one image on a page

Guidelines for using media rotators

  • Use 3-12 photos in the media rotator.
  • Use captions to help visitors understand what is happening in the photo and how it relates to the page.
  • The media rotator is not meant to act as navigation. Do not put links in your captions. You cannot link images. .
  • Media rotators are always placed at the top of the page


Create a new media rotator by selecting New > UVic Blocks > Media rotator.
