Create a recurring meeting: Outlook 2010

A recurring appointment repeats on a regular basis (for example, every Tuesday). Recurring meetings can be created from scratch (by selecting New Appointment) or by modifying something that already exists in your calendar. The following example shows how to modify a pre-existing meeting so that it becomes a recurring event. For information on how to create a new meeting request, please see Initiate meeting request: Outlook 2010.

  1. Open the meeting that you would like to edit by double clicking on the meeting in your calendar. Then click on the Recurrence icon.

  2. Change the Start and End times as needed and customize your Recurrence pattern. When you are finished, click OK.

  3. Update all the attendees of these meetings by clicking Send Update.
