Security enhancements to VPN sign in process

To better protect your NetLink account and enhance secure access to the campus network, University Systems will be adding support for UVic Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) service. 

On March 9, 2022, you will be asked to use the Sign in to UVic page when connecting to VPN:

If you are enrolled in the UVic MFA service, you will be prompted to complete the sign in process using your second factor (if you are not enrolled in the UVic MFA service, you will log in normally).
